AN ACT making a supplementary appropriation of public moneys out
of the treasury from the balance of moneys remaining as an
unappropriated balance in the state fund, general revenue,
department of military affairs and public safety, West
Virginia state police, account no. fund 0453, fiscal year
1997, organization 0612, all supplementing and amending the
appropriation for the fiscal year ending the thirtieth day
of June, one thousand nine hundred ninety-seven.
Whereas, There now remains an unappropriated balance in the
state treasury which is available for appropriation during the
fiscal year ending the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine
hundred ninety-seven; therefore
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the total appropriation for the fiscal year ending the
thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred ninety-seven, to
the department of military affairs and public safety, West Virginia state police, account no. fund 0453, fiscal year 1997,
organization 0612, be supplemented and amended by increasing the
total appropriation by three hundred thousand dollars as follows:

Any unexpended balance remaining in the appropriation for
Riverside High detachment (fund 0453, activity 000) at the close
of the fiscal year 1996-97 is hereby reappropriated for
expenditure during the fiscal year 1997-98.
The purpose of this bill is to supplement this account in
the budget act for the fiscal year ending the thirtieth day of
June, one thousand nine hundred ninety-seven, by adding three
hundred thousand dollars to the existing appropriation to the
aforesaid account for expenditure from a new line item during the
fiscal year ending the 30th day of June, one thousand nine
hundred ninety-seven.
